Application: Pressure Equipment Directive − PED
The European Community has decided to pass a set of rules called the Pressure Equipment Directive – PED. These rules state that all kind of pressurized equipment must have a safety system that prevents the pressure to exceed the Max Allowable Operating Pressure that
the equipment has to be approved for. In the past the way of preventing the pressure to rise was to either install a pressure relief valve or a pressure bypass valve
